Most Popular Posts of 2013

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! I cannot believe it is almost 2014. That means I have another child graduating from High School.  Youch. That happened fast. 2017 will be here, before I know it - that's when kid number 3 graduates. sigh.

I glanced back through my most popular posts this past year, and found many of them worth re-mentioning.
The post that continues to be read almost on a daily basis (based on my stats and my Pinterest links) is this step-by-step detailing how to easily make a dorm room head board.....

This is an easy way to make a headboard for a twin bed.  I hope all of you who contacted me about this project were successful with it!  Here is another popular post regarding Dorm Dcorating Ideas from earlier this year.

Another widely read post was in regards to the floral art gallery wall in my family room....

As I noted - I am so O-V-E-R the red sofa, but try to ignore it while I desperately search for the time and patience and energy to sew a slip-cover.

And since we are in my family room, now - let me mention that I am surprised by how many times this post regarding book case styling continues to be repinned.....

Readers also liked my Before and After photos of the office chairs that I slip-covered for my living room....

(My husband still prefers the chair that is underneath!  That is what I am dealing with, people!)

It seems that everyone enjoys a home tour, and many of you glanced at these iphone photos of my home....

And everyone especially enjoys a Christmas home tour (or a partial one!)....

I worked frantically through October and part of November to complete my 31-Days-of-Art series ......

And also spent several days this summer removing sheet rock from my daughter's chimney in the middle of her room.....

Which reminds me - I still need to share the Before and After photos from her renovated room! Hopefully I will find time for that in early January.

The last two posts I am going to mention also involve history, old homes, and the South.  This post on my travels along the Bayou Teche

and this post about an afternoon drive through Middle Georgia still bring in lots of readers and generates pins .....

Apparently there are lots of us who enjoy backroads and historic homes!

Enjoy the rest of this year!

And don't forget - my Etsy store After-Christmas Sale is still up! 20% off (using code CHRISTMAS) until the New Year!
