My Floral Art Display

Sharing more of our family room, today.  This is our well-used sofa.  And my floral art display above it.  Don't even get me started on how much I don't like that red sofa.  It sits well, enough - but I am OVER the color.  And I am too busy/lazy to make a slip cover.  It just sits there like the great big red elephant-in-the-room that it is.

But, back to the art display.  Most of those are my paintings - a few are from elsewhere.  As my art sells, I just shift and replace pieces into the holes that are left.  We have yet to figure out what that column to the left of the art actually is.  All we know is that it is in the way.

In case you are wondering about the rest of the room, here is the corner to the left of that photo.

More floral art in this corner - one of my faves that I cannot believe has not been purchased.  Oh, well! We will enjoy it while it is here!  (I just ran into that room and took this photo - it is a rainy day in Georgia, so the pic is grainy).

And, in case you missed it, here are the shelves in the same room - I shared these (and a tip on how to style bookcases), yesterday....

Ignore the dog toys.

Back to the floral art - I like grouping.  You can see my bird art collection here and here.

What a cozy, comfortable room! And how great it must be to have all that art to change In and Out...

I love the red sofa! I love all the colors you have put together for this room.
I just recently covered my 90's model sofa with a red slip cover...it made a nice change, I thought!
I can live with it until I get the settee finished.

I love your art and am surprised when you have something that doesn't sell. One of these days...I have one in mind that I'd like to purchase if you still have it...I may have to special order it now.

anyway...you are inspiring! Here is a link to my recent painting efforts;

I don't know if you saw it.

I just finally had fun with it! Pat

Love your flower wall and your bird wall too! How clever to frame and enjoy your art until it sells, plus you're not giving up space for storage!
Found you via Rednesday!

I can relate to not being happy with the big red couch in the room! I love the couch itself, but wish I could afford to have it recovered. Someday. Love the look of your room, and you've inspired me! I love to garden, and maybe if I surround myself with floral art, I will get through winter alot easier!
Happy REDnesday,
Carol

Wishing you joy~
You are working with that red sofa really well, I think. The gallery wall above it is beautiful & bright -- and I like all your floral throw pillows too :)
