Christmas Over ? Time to Rearrange ! !

Found a new location in our home for these hydrangeas.................

Right over the ice box.
Where the Christmas tree was located, last week. .....

This painting was previously grouped on the wall in my kitchen

with several of my other paintings ...........

Until I found a GREAT frame for $8 at the flea market........

Here is our new view from the front door.

See the hydrangea painting W-A-Y down at the end of the hall in the next room?

(back there in the family room).....

Here is how this area looked, before Christmas......

I never made prints of this painting because I copied borrowed the basic colors and shape of the painting from a magazine (way back when I started painting, a couple of years ago).

I read somewhere that Paul Gauguin and Vincent Van Gogh were roommates and often argued about how true artists paint. Gauguin believed true artists painted from memory, while Van Gogh believed you needed to look at the world around you to paint. (Hmmm.... could he have possible meant that you could copy other people's paintings?? I doubt it!!!)

Very pretty! Love that frame!! :)
That's the perfect spot for the painting! Isn't it fun to rearrange after the holidays? I've been doing the same over here. Beautiful frame too.

I love that hydrangea painting you did, it's gorgeous, of course I love orange!! That is what I have done and it is so much fun, it's like your house is new again. I even painted a wall this weekend.

Hugs,

Love the talent and style you bring to your paintings. Very comforting. Nice new placement to feature your art, too. I'm in over my head over here at Lakewood with rearranging and such. But I'm having fun. Thanks for sharing!
Living it up at Lakewood,

Love your painting! I have bought a dozen or so more primitive paintings like this for my back entry (they try to hide a terrible wall!)

The hydrangea painting is so pretty (as are all of your others!). I like the way you framed it and where you put it too. Also really like the bright artwork against the green paint in the kitchen area. Hope you're having a good week...

Your entry is beautiful. I am loving the yellow you have. Is it the same you have in your dining room?

The painting definitely pops there especially in that bold frame too!
