Christmas Over ? Time to Rearrange ! !
Found a new location in our home for these hydrangeas.................
Right over the ice box.
Where the Christmas tree was located, last week. .....
This painting was previously grouped on the wall in my kitchen
with several of my other paintings ...........
Until I found a GREAT frame for $8 at the flea market........
Here is our new view from the front door.
See the hydrangea painting W-A-Y down at the end of the hall in the next room?
(back there in the family room).....
Here is how this area looked, before Christmas......
I never made prints of this painting because I copied borrowed the basic colors and shape of the painting from a magazine (way back when I started painting, a couple of years ago).
I read somewhere that Paul Gauguin and Vincent Van Gogh were roommates and often argued about how true artists paint. Gauguin believed true artists painted from memory, while Van Gogh believed you needed to look at the world around you to paint. (Hmmm.... could he have possible meant that you could copy other people's paintings?? I doubt it!!!)

The painting definitely pops there especially in that bold frame too!
And the colors in your home are so beautiful
