Happy Spring

Happy Spring to my friends in the South! It is beautiful, here, but I am worried our lack of winter will leave us with a 'buggy' summer. Is that how it works? I have a bit of Spring fever, so have been painting bunny rabbits.

Perfect Little Bunny

Here is a view out my kitchen window...


Apparently, the camellias really enjoyed last summer's drought - they are beautiful, this year! That particular one is very old and is at least 15' tall. It is due for another trimming, soon. 

Here is a close up view of that blossom. 


I know it is japonica, but I don't know the actual name. Isn't it lovely?
