I've Only Just Begun

I am slowly getting Christmas "out" of the attic.

Here is my front door this Christmas....

Very similar to Christmases past around here (2010 and 2009).

I made this rosemary wreath, yesterday.

It counts as a wreath, even if it is slightly oval, doesn't it?  I am simply not detail-oriented enough to try and round out that wreath.

I love natural, God-made decor at Christmas.  Nothing is prettier than what God created.  Nothing.  Not even the most beautiful house in the world is more appealing to the eye than the Grand Tetons or an ocean or a butterfly or a baby.

Not that I don't have plenty of sparkle and plastic and glass around at Christmas...

I just haven't opened all of those boxes, yet!

I couldn't agree more about the natural decorations being the prettiest. Your door looks beautiful and I love your other Christmas decor...especially your painting I spied in the background!

I love it, it's beautiful, is the fruit all real or do you pack it up after the holidays? :)
Katy - I use REAL fruit!!! Hope I can keep the raccoons away from the lower group of apples!

It looks really nice so far. Love the porch, the bed and the table top decorations.
Really beautiful Trish, and I too love natural materials around the home! I especially love your Rosemary wreath, it must smell heavenly.
Have a lovely Sunday!

Your entry is just beautiful. The Williamsburg style of decorating with the fruit has always been one of my favorites. When we lived in a salt box style house I always used pineapples and apples. Won grand prize one year. :) I wish you a very joyous Christmas season. xo
Your front entry looks so festive and beautiful with all the greenery!
Oh I so agree-God is the ultimate decorator. Of course being Southern you know I adore that magnolia wreath!
Well if this doesn't say "Hospitality" than I don't know what does! :-) It is just absolutely beautiful and I love what you did around your light fixtures. It looks like a magazine and I'm so glad you came over and shared it at my Doors and Porches Party!
