Thrifty Metamorphosis

Remember this old wooden tiered 'thing' I found in my father-in-law's attic?

(The one carved by grandpa so-and-so)

Well, I pulled out the black spray paint..........................

Cool, huh?

It looks fabulous. I love it. What a great idea to use it to hold a selection of fruit. Hugs, Marty

Next week oranges? I really like the runner on your table. It pulls colors from your paintings. Better than just a centerpiece by itself.

I just came across your blog and spent my afternoon at work reading all the entries. LOVE IT! I love all the pictures and your art work. I also love to drive around and look at historic homes, so now I can see some in other parts of the country.
I love how you transformed that stand with black paint!

Thanks for your comment on my church photo... I just discovered your blog today and love it! If I were to ask you to paint that church scene for me, what would you suggest? (size, medium, etc)
Looks totally awesome - as my 4 year old would say.

This looks great now! It's amazing how black can make something look much sleeker and more expensive. Great job! Thanks for stopping by A Penny Saved and leaving a comment!
