Tranformation Satisfaction

I was not thrilled with this painting (even though it had 5 "likes" on Etsy and made a Treasury List)....

So I repainted the sky and the lettering ....

I like it much better, now. Plus, I can walk past it without cringing.

I am constantly "adjusting" my pieces.  I test out a painting by hanging it in my house and walking past it for a couple of weeks. If it annoys me, I figure out how to tweak it so that I like it.  Last week, I took this group of hydrangeas that were bugging me...

And changed them to this....

I just left four of the blooms in the same spot and painted around them, like this.....

Crazy talk.  But I like the final painting, better.  (It sold fairly quickly, too!)

By the way - here are my Twitter, Pinterest, and Facebook links, if you are interested in following along!

Have a great day!

I love the changes you made to both paintings, which are beautiful! And how on earth was I NOT following you on Pinterest already?! No worries, I remedied that! :)
