My Mantle and Some News

Our home was on the local holiday tour, this past weekend - which means I am THROUGH with Christmas decorating AND my house is clean!  So nice!  And, in case you misinterpreted my introductory sentence - I am NOT bragging - I just shared that to let you know how busy I have been and how tired I am at this moment.  Bone tired.  Our family has been fortunate to be able to live in an historic home in a precious town and we wanted to open our home to let others see the architecture in our home.  I appreciate peeking into old buildings, and felt a duty to let others see our relic.

Now, off to the races with Christmas gift shopping and creating.  Today I got to spend money repairing my i-phone which stopped working over the weekend.  Such a fun way to let go of my cash.

I will share one of my mantles at the bottom of this post, but first my big news.  I have a new Shop.  A brand new online store.  Thanks to the hard work of Kat Warren, we have a new art store open on the web.  Our new store is LowTideHighStyle (similar to Kat's blog name) and the store will feature the work of Kat Warren, Mary Beth Griffin, and myself.  The concept behind our store is to provide an array of unique artwork that is not available anywhere else, while insuring a quality product made entirely in the USA.  No child labor involved, unless you count the cleaning my children have to do to make up for my time in the art studio.  I will still have my Etsy store, but will not have any duplication between the two stores.  My Etsy shop will continue to have some of my original paintings, while our new store will have entirely different art work that I have created.

Here is the link for our new store....

Go and check it out!

And, here is a photo of one of my mantles, this year (I have four in this old house)...

Have a great day!
