Crafting without Mom

One of my daughters had "crafting" on her To-Do-List this week.

She is my 'high-maintenance' daughter.
Therefore, I knew immediately that "crafting" would involve ME.
Lots of ME.
Me to help with ideas, with supplies, with decisions, with clean up.   And with lots of my time.  All on a busy day for ME.  (because I am what matters, right?)

I was pleasantly surprised at how much she did on her own!   What a big girl!

Maybe now that she is 19 she is a little less 'high maintenance' than in days past.

She is prepping for her second year of college - apparently LAST year's decor needed some updating.

Didn't she do a great job!?

Quite the artist!

Her ideas, naturally, were gathered on Pinterest.  Here is her Pinterest site.

And here are some pins she used for inspiration...

I keep forgetting she is an adult and not an 8 year old.

Where does the time go?  One day, maybe I will grow up and be glad my daughter wants to spend time with ME.   Why do I always learn things a little too late?
