Another Birthday this Week!

Both of my daughters had a birthday this week!

My eldest is now 18.   E-i-g-h-t-e-e-n.   That means she can buy lottery tickets and cigarettes.

Oh, dear.

Hopefully she will choose only to register to vote - and not pick up smoking.

The birthday banner has been pinned up twice this week - and we had two cakes in the house over the course of one week.  (The cakes are a real problem for my waistline!  - and how do you tell the kids - "Nope-two cakes are too many- only one cake per year- which one of you wants the cake this year?")
