Spring Sprung

And so did the pollen.  Ugh.  Even with Allegra D, I cannot stay outside very long, this week.

But, WOW we are having a beautiful Spring!

(BTDubs- I took all of these photos too early in the morning on a cloudy day - everything is MUCH prettier than my photos depict!)

Here is my neighbor's pink dogwood....

So great to have nice neighbors with well-tended lawns for me to glimpse out my windows!  (I feel sort of bad about their view, sometimes!)

Here is my Carolina Jessamine.......

One day, aromas will come through the computer.  Until then, just imagine how heavenly this smells!

Some of my azaelas are in full bloom......

And my neighbor took this picture of wisteria near our homes, the other day....

And since she has a nicer camera and was smart enough to take photos on a sunny day, I pirated the photo off her blog.

I am so blessed to live in such a beautiful country and in such a beautiful old neighborhood.  When my friends tell me they are going to walk around the local track, I think "WHY?  We live in one of the most charming towns in Georgia, and you want to walk in a circle around the track for an hour?"  To each his own.

Enjoy your weekend!

How many are your works, LORD! In wisdom you made them all.  Psalm 104:24

BEAUTIFUL pictures!! I can't wait for everything to start flowering around here. Your neighborhood is just lovely! Enjoy your weekend, Martina
The blossoms are so beautiful! My roses are full of little buds. Old Post Road is gorgeous this time of year.

It is gorgeous in Georgia, every window at our house looks out onto a blooming dogwood and I have been gardening like crazy. Madison is a fabulous town, you are about 1.5 hours from our old house.

Your neighborhood really IS charming! We've just returned to Indiana from Bryson City, North Carolina. The pear trees were in bloom, as were the forsythias. Redbuds were just beginning to blossom...Wish I could have stayed a few more days!
Ours are just beginning to bloom...we are expecting 3 inches of SNOW!!

Love the wisteria and jasmine

Beautiful photos! Spring is such a gorgeous season. We had 80 degree weather last week and as I type this it is snowing! Snow on Forsythia in full bloom is just not right!

haha! I JUST realized that you were in Madison. I thought you were in South Georgia for some reason. About 6 years ago, we spent a year and a half in Madison! We lived off of Eatonton Rd near 7 Islands in an old farm house. I love Madison and the downtown area...especially the Laughing Moon! My favorite store down there.
