Stockings to Hang

I made these cute stockings .....

out of soft drop cloths

and some beautiful crocheted "collars" I found for $1 each in an antique store.

Aren't the collars beautiful?

They made several stockings.

They are in my booth waiting on a family.

Have a nice day!

What a steal on the pretty collars, but leave it to you to think of what to do with them! They look like they were made to order for the muslin stockings. So sweet, they won;t be hanging in the store too long.

I remember those collars. What a clever idea using the drop cloths with the lace. They are just beautiful. Thank you for sharing at the boardwalk bragfest!

I have about thirty or forty of these collars that I found in a Trunk that I bought at an Estate Sale. I have been trying to work up a creative way to use them and this fits perfectly.... Thanks for the idea, Stockings stuffed with homemade goodies will make great office gifts.
