My Front Door

I enjoy using fruit for outdoor decorating at Christmastime.

My husband calls this "the fruit salad above the door."

I am fortunate to have an "old" yard that someone planted years ago- with plenty of greenery.

Apples (from the store) add a little red.

And since the budget is tight this year, I spent $10 on fabric for my front-porch pillows.  (what was I thinking?  Don't tell my husband.  I'll use them again, next year- I promise.)

Have a great day!

Looks like a porch from the Williamsburg catalog Trish...very pretty right up to the fruit salad. Those pillows would be nice any time of the year - a wise investment in my opinion.

Trish, it looks great. I bet those apples don't stay there long. Little critters will thank you for their Christmas gifts. I hear ya about the money tree being very very slim this year!

I love the Williamsburg look and especially love that you used fresh greens. I intended to do that, but it didn't happen this year.

Being from Virginia originally, I've wanted to do a Williamsburg Christmas on our porch forever! Perhaps next year :). Your porch looks gorgeous and your fruit salad above the door is perfect! Thanks so much for linking up.
Love the look you have going on and those cute pillows!

Blessings,
Linda

You have a good looking porch. I love the designs. Great ideas for designs this Holiday season. Though I'm thinking of replacing ours with steel front doors 'coz it's more durable. Unlike wood doors, it's not prone to rotting and termites, and some effects of harsh climates.
