Maybe Next Year...

I'll put a small tree in my kitchen....

Or make a Christmas card board....

Surely I will finally attempt to make a magnolia wreath....

and find time to create this cute garland....

Or perhaps I'll find a box of vintage bottle-brush trees on sale...

Whatever my energy brings next year,
I know I will always hang this ornament on my tree....

Was she cute, or what? I am forever grateful to the teacher that thought of this!

And to the teacher who thought to put angel wings on my little spit-fire.....

Hope you are having a wonderful Christmas!

Such a good post. Yep, all those things we need to start early on. Last year I made angel ornaments for my grandkids. I did it in the winter and I finished them last week, hah. They look nice on a tiny tree.
I love the first tree in your post......and of course your little girls photos.
Happy Holidays.

Oh my goodness -I actually have tears in my eyes right now -This is the most beautiful post I have read all season -truly this is the meaning of Christmas. I know so many times I feel I have fallen short in the decorating process-then I look at my growing teen-age sons and our 25 year old son and see their success and take a deep breath and know all is well I thnak you for reminding me -Your picture ornaments are lovely -I hope their teachers that thought of this are able to see this post
blessings and Merry Christmas,
Kathy
I have so many things on my next year's to do list too! I did finally decorate the outside of my house today...woohoo! I love the ornaments my kids made in school too, and I proudly hang them on the tree each year. Yours are darling!

We usually string popcorn this year...but didn't get around to it. I still have a huge box of ornamemts that need to get on the trees. Maybe I should hop off the internet and do that. I do love the idea of the Christmas card board. Though it seems like the numbers of those sending cards are dwindling...cute stuff Trish.

I can so relate. I had big plans for this year and didn't get them all done. Oh well, there's always next year.
Cute girls, too.
You're right, there is always next year! Of course, the after Christmas sells are wonderful for Christmas decorations for next year!

Love the Santa beard on your little sweetie.

hugs

I really need an inspiration board that I can sprinkle with Christmas cards this time of year (like in your illustration). Merry Christmas.
