I've Been Creating Things...

And ALL of the things I created are in this one post.

(Professional bloggers, avert thy precious eyes. I clearly do not know what I am doing.)

My new wreath is sitting in a chair. (the chair had the best light, plus the chair is white)

Here it is by the back door, with too much light from behind....

and on the mantle....

I used a wire wreath form and lots and lots and lots of hot glue. Most of the ornaments are "shatterproof" and were on sale.

I also made a second, smaller wreath -

Cute, huh? I am going to take these to my booth and set up for Christmas.

Then I washed and dried the new 5 for $5 flour sack towels I found at Wal-Mart.

I stitched this on one of them....

But have decided I need a more "substantial" towel or material for embroidery.

I also added ruffles to one...

Fun, Fun! Have a great weekend!

Love the colors you used in your wreaths. What did you use to hold the wreath together? They look wonderful.
Thanks! LOTS of hot glue on a wire wreath form.

hey trish, just found your blog thru funkyjunks link up...I made a wreath very similar to this last year...but the balls all fell off when I put it outside my front door! Did you put yours outside and what did you use to adhere the balls?
So so cute, thanks for sharing!!

Hi Trish, I think you need to edit your post and tell us HOW you made the wreath? I am guessing hot glue on a styrofoam form??? It is very pretty!

Doh! I guess I should have read all the comments before asking the HOW to question.

I love your wreath! I've always wanted to make one but I never think of it until December...when there's never enough time!

Love your creations. I tried making a wreath like yours and I broke more ornaments than I put on it! LOL. Now I know to use the unbreakable ones!

Love the colors in yours, very pretty.
Sweet dish towels too.
