What a Spectacular Birthday!

Sunday was my birthday and I had a wonderful day!!

Here is the Publix cake my Mom brought over.......

From 2nd grade at Alcoa Elementary School - way back in 1977.

PLUS.....

Donna at Funky Junk Interiors hosted a linky party and gave away one of my prints........

so THAT led to a whole bunch of sweet compliments on my blog and hers (and you know how much we all like a big pat on the back!).

Then I got a bunch of cute new faces on my sidebar (I love getting new "followers").

PLUS - My family was extra-nice ALL day long.

But, back to the "compliment" thing.

A few kind words can REALLY make a difference in someone's day!

I received a comment from another blogger one day and her blog is entitled
Encouragement is Contagious
and she is right!!
Encouragement IS
contagious!!

When others compliment and encourage us - we just want to go out and encourage others.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today Hebrews 3:13a

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. 1Thessalonians 5:11

Have a great day!

Happy Belated Birthday Trish....of course your photo made me smile. Mostly because in 1977 I was already married two years..Ha! I didn't realize I was that old ;-) But then again, it is only a number. Have a great day.

What a great idea for a cake. I may have to get my Publix to do that!

Happy Birthday! Found your blog today; I used to be a middle GA girl, so I could relate to your weather comment on "Farmgirl Paints"; I hate August also!

Happy late birthday. It sounds like it was great.

Thanks for the words of wisdom; the reminder to always be about building others up. Our words can bring life, can't they?

God bless you. And, you are such a gifted artist. Obviously a gift from God.
