STILL Decking the Halls!!
There is always one more thing I can "embellish!!"
I found these big shiny blue ornaments while "shopping for others."
So, my new theme for my recently redecorated dining room is 'blue and silver.'
(After all, I've never been able to use this room, before - remember? So, OF COURSE I needed to buy Christmas decorations for that room.)
The DIY part of this post is simple: (1) Cut fresh greenery (frasier fir and magnolia leaves) and lay them around the room, (2) place beautiful christmas balls all around the room. Voila!!! Plus, there is the $3 craft on the front of the mantle, from a previous post here.
(above: poor lighting and bad photographer)
I really want some fake powder snow for this platter - but cannot find any.
And notice my real magnolia leaves around the magnolia painting! Clever, eh?........
I also showed you the footed trifle bowl with the pinecones, fir, and balls, last week.
I love how ornament balls can really just go anywhere..........
And since this post involves my dining room FURNITURE, I am joining the Furniture Feature Blog Party! as well as Saturday Nite Special!

This is just beautiful. I love what you did with te blue and silver balls. It just looks so serene. I love the use of the magnolia leaves and the fir limbs. So very elegant and beautiful. I love it. Simple and elegant, and oh so beautiful. I thank you for sharing this evening.
Stop by soon. I so love the company.

I was strutting around in the thrift stores with some great finds for Christmas, but when the lady just in front of me with the humungous basket of the ittyest bittyest stuff started counting her wares one at a time in slow motion, I plunked my scoops on a table and left. I was too tired to stand there and watch while I gritted my teeth. I was too tired to grit my teeth too.
So that is MY excuse for no further decorating. Thank goodness!! LOL
Thanks for linking up to SNS!

(sorry for double post... typo on first draft.. still tired I guess LOL)
I have had so many Google problems-and it isn't over-Google has no idea how to solve the problem.
Sorry I haven't been by much-I decided after weeks and weeks of non-stop Google issues, I am throwing my hands up and making much needed visits.
I hope you have a Very Merry Christmas and hope you can come by for a visit.
