Christmas Decor Tour for 2009

You have seen my front porch garland in an earlier post, here........

And my santas.........

And more santas..........

And you saw the mercury glass, here:

NOW - for the new stuff -
Here is my snowman collection...........

And another little winter scene..........

And a cute santa my then 12-year old (NOW 13 year old) clone painted.........

Some greenery and old christmas tree lights in a silver bowl.........

And the stockings hung by the chimney, stairs with care.

And our tree .........

(frasier fir)

I would love to have a second tree (fake) for the front of the house.

But that will just have to wait for another year or two.

Meanwhile, here are some close-ups of a few of my favorite ornaments.

In my opinion, fresh greenery is KEY!

This may not photograph very well, but I love putting magnolia in the chandelier.
This is my kitchen table lighting - I use the same ornaments tied together with the same ribbon, every year.

And here is a little fresh boxwood in some silver mint julep cups.

Another "key" is simple round ornaments.

Here, I have combined the two (fresh greenery and ornament balls) with some pinecones in a trifle dish I rarely use for food because I always forget it is in the cabinet.

Easy Peasy.

Oh Sweetie...
Just absolutely beautiful. What a wonderful job you have done decorating this year. Just beautiful.

I love your snowman collection. I love snowmen also. They are just so darn lovable to me, once I learned about Frosty, there was no stopping me.

Your stair banner is so beautiful. What a great place to hang the stockings. I love them.

As always thanks for sharing. Please stop by and say hi. I love it when you visit.

Country hugs...Sherry
The ornaments that the kids made get more and more precious every year! Your decor was lovely.

I'm voting for the tin can snowman with earmuffs and your progeny's prodigious Santa painting.
