Saturday Nite Special Window Treatments

I am joining Funky Junk Interior's Saturday Nite Special party, a little late!
This week's topic is Window Treatments.

I make my own. And I hope it is not TOO apparent.

Here are my bedroom window treatments - buffalo check I bought off ebay a few years back. I don't have a close up of my pleats at the top. These drapes showcase some of my "better" sewing abilities. (I have sheers beneath - Walmart - for privacy).

Next is my kitchen - burlap. You can see the before and after, here.

And here are my most recent creations. Drapes in my dining room. I love the yellow material - but my seamstress skills are lacking in this room.......

And last of all - my next project. Burlap and chocolate floral for my den.

To be done THIS WEEK - NO EXCUSES!!!!!

Gosh that bedroom had me gasping! It's gorgeous! And your curtain treatments are perfect for it!

Lookit all those tall narrow windows! You must be in window love over yonder. Mine are all wider horizontally... not nearly as much pow but gotta make what you have work.

And I have to just say, your kitchen made me smile. It just looks like FUN with all those lucious colours!

Thanks for linking up to SNS #4!

I really need new window treatments for most of the rooms in my house but I am not a seamstress at all. Love what you have done. I can't wait to see the new ones. I really like that fabric!
Your awesome bedroom has been featured on the SNS #4 highlights post!

Ok I have a totally unrelated question. I see you have a round dining table. Can you tell me how big it is and how many chairs you can fit around it. Someday I think I would love a round one for one of my dining areas...but I don't know if it would really fit enough people....my big dining table in the separate dining room fits between 8 and 10. ANyways I would be thankful if you filled me in !
