Feathered Friends

Saw that The Shabby Chic Cottage was having a Feathered Friends blog party, today!

"I have lots of birds around my house -I will join this party!"
So I ventured out of my kitchen, with my camera in hand, in search of the many flocks of birds around my house.

I should have taken my binoculars - I couldn't find any birds!
Then I realized that most of my birds are painted birds.

I remembered this flock by the front door - waiting for a chance to fly away..........

These little guys sure seem content in our home. ..................

Next, I spotted this flock of birds on a mantle, waiting on an Etsy purchaser..........

This bird also needs a new home.

I found this flock of guinea hens waiting patiently for someone to turn on the television..............

Then, I found these ducklings perched on a table, wishing an Etsy hunter would find them.........

I finally remembered these cute little chicks in a corner...........

Yes, I am aware that the plant on the right is half-dead. ....... Please, just look a different direction.

I love all your artwork and the birds around your home! Also love the title of your blog - we live on a Post Road! Thanks for sharing these with us!
I love that you didn't crop the unhealthy plant out of the photo - I admire bloggers that "keep it real". Beautiful artwork ... I'm headed to your store right now!

I really like the group by the front door! I think it's so hard to get a random grouping to look right, and you've done such a good job :-)
