Beach Homes

Julia at Hooked on Houses frequently shares beautiful homes on her blog. And I mean jaw-dropping, gorgeous houses! But my favorite posts from her site are the "Bad MLS Photos." Such fun! (Today is one of those days) Julia is hosting a "freaky house photo" blog party.

At first, I was concerned about 'hurting someone's feelings' or not being compassionate to those who are less fortunate. But, then, my silly side took over, and I found a few photos to share.

And actually, I found TOO many photos - four homes near the beach.
So pick one out - they are all quite affordable.

This home fooled me at first.........

(some days I just want to pretend I have a sunporch.)

This next home needs a little purging ........

and I am really concerned that this is an outhouse.........

And this homeowner likes color as much as I do.........

Never a dull moment in a room this bright..........

And the realtor wants you to know there is a hole in the wall.....

And this last house is quite cute from the street........

but, there is a hot water heater in the bathroom..........

And a hole in the exterior wall.

See? Your house is fine like it is - no need to clean, today!

Have a great day!

OH, they are great!

My problem is I like a little funk - perfect houses leave me with nothing to do. Has anyone started a group for house missionaries?

Fun post!!
Happy Easter to you!!
Love it! I got such a kick out of the imaginary sun porch. And the water heater in the bathroom? What in the world? Great roundup of MLS photos, Trish. So glad you joined my party! Have a great weekend. :-)

That is one cluttered kitchen! You're right, it makes me feel slightly better. :-)

Thanks for all your good advice on the domestic fringe. I appreciate everyone's good ideas for my living room and I've been moving furniture around all afternoon. I'm trying to sort through all the advice and try some different things out. Thanks again!
