Maps

Our family has a "thing" for maps.

My kids even have a giant world map on their shower curtain.

I doubt it is just our family - I think most everyone has "map-love."

Oopsie Daisy sells this wall map for kids' rooms........

And here is a unique map by artist Aaron Foster........

Could I hang globes in the family room and get away with it?........

Ohdeedoh

My daughters have this map of Paris in their room..........

And in my son's room............

The London Subway system map - over my son's bed..........

And he has a map of the Normandy invasion during WWII ..........

I loved this post by Kimba at A Soft Place to Land..........

About how to frame a map.
As you can tell by the puny poster frames in my son's room - I REALLY need to get to work with her handy molding/trim-work framing tips!

We're big on maps. We used many generations of the maps shower curtains. Kept a supply in the closet.

I was just talking to a girlfriend of mine about maps I picked up at an estate sale a couple of months back. I plan to use them in my boys upcoming room design! I love vintage maps!

Have a great day!

Love the hanging globes; I totally could see this in a child's room or a classroom.

Maps are cool. Oh that frame idea from Kimba would really spruce it up.

I have several old pull down school maps hanging in my house which I love! I love the room that wallpapered with them.
