Hydrangea Paintings

Join Melissa at The inspired Room for more Beautiful Life posts!

I've bragged and bragged about my hydrangeas, in earlier posts.

And I am really enjoying my hydrangeas on my kitchen table, this summer............

So I painted them in acrylics on canvas ........

Then I painted them in acrylics on paper .........

Then I painted them in watercolors........

Now they are on my Etsy site.

Beautiful paintings and photos!
Great talent.
Oh honey, I love the hydrangeas. I so wish a paintbrush fit my hand, but unfortunately they were not meant to be. I can pick one up but it goes absolutely nowhere. I never could figure out where to put it on the paper, to make it look like a real picture. Not my God given talent, but obviously it is yours. I love this post. Thanks so much for sharing. I would love to have you stop by. Country hugs, Sherry

I love hydrangeas too. Our tiny hydrangea plant survived the winter. No blooms yet and we are eagerly awaiting them next year. Thanks so much for sharing. Your hydrangeas are gorgeous!

So pretty!! I have one hydrangea but it only blooms inside the bush. Do you know why that might be so and are you suppose to trim them down in the fall?

Those are some of my fav plants - mine did not do well this year - just a few scraggily blooms - maybe next year. Love your paintings - lovely!

Hydrangeas are the most beautiful flower. My sister grows them and I cut hers for my home. Her tree is huge, like a tree. They last a long time after cutting them. Yours are beautiful, as is your paintings.

Hugs...Jeanne
